Shopify Developer - Internship

Summary:
During my internship at Ecommerce Web Guru, I had the opportunity to work hands-on with Shopify development. The experience allowed me to build and customize over a dozen e-commerce websites, learning about Shopify’s Liquid framework, and enhancing user experience through responsive design and dynamic functionalities. This role helped me sharpen my skills in web development and Shopify integration, which directly contributed to the success of various client projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Over the course of the internship, I worked on 12+ responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My primary focus was on customizing Shopify stores, ensuring user-friendly designs, and incorporating dynamic elements using Liquid and JSON for seamless e-commerce experiences.

Project Highlights:
Rockstar Booking Platform: This project allowed users to book rock stars for live shows. The platform displayed upcoming event details, including singer names and locations, and enabled users to book available dates. Users were also notified of fully booked dates. I focused on HTML and CSS to ensure the platform was responsive and visually engaging.

Selling Purse Platform: A responsive e-commerce site for selling purses, where users could add products to their carts and view real-time updates to product names. I focused on JavaScript to dynamically manage product information and ensure optimal word sizing based on available space.

Gymtime Platform: I developed a site for a gym that showcased gym products for sale and provided detailed information about trainers, gym schedules, and opening/closing times. The project emphasized user experience and design, with a strong focus on creating an attractive, easy-to-navigate layout.

Technologies Used: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify Liquid, JSON, Responsive Web Design, VS Code, Shopify Admin API.
